So in previous posts I mentioned how I was going to give a bit of insight into how our online store was travelling in response to marketing strategies employed. Now the marketing budget is so far use what we have. I have spent money on a google adwords campaign and activity has increased from 0 – 20 visits per day which is not bad considering this has only been running for a few weeks. Delving into Google Analytics I think it is pleasing that of the roughly 350 visitors we have had, 130 have returned. Since I last posted we have had 4 orders, but notably 2 ordered and 2 reordered = 4 orders received to date, so the customers are happy with the product they receive and like enough to want more, can’t tell you how much that pleased and relieved me.
One part of what we do is vehicle wrapping (AutoSkin), so obviously I’d be silly not to utilise so here’s the rear window advertising, the best piece of advertising real estate on your vehicle in my opinion, mainly because people sit behind you in traffic and stare ahead, often bored and waiting, ready to take something in so best to make it interesting. Because I put out a range based on themes/events/occasions what I will do is have a generic deRshop rear window campaign, hopefully directing customers to the site with the url/logo branding, will add twitter & FB and some text to explain what deRshop is. But given that my product is peel and stick, removable, reusuable fabric decals that can also be applied to vehicles, I will use these to add the sparkle, showcasing the current range as I have done here with the bauble, star, tree and chain from our xmas range. I’m thinking it might be a clever and inexpensive way for our AutoSkin customers to have a bit of fun with their brand by adding changeable print fabric decals. Could replace magnets that can damage the duco of the car too. It is fabric however so therefore a matte finish is what is on offer, and more for shorter term use, but could work for magnet decals, as they can be removed and placed on backing paper for re-use, as long as the adhesive is kept clean.
So let’s see what rear window advertising does for sales!!
