Latest Wall Scrawl News
We have now completed the Wall Scrawl, clocks and country name plates for Cricket Australia. Last pic to show the inclusion of Dubai. Melbourne is the white clock showing current Melbourne time. I love seeing the Wall Scrawls being used, with writing on all the key dates or any scrawl really. Looks so organised and clean and happening.

Now that Richmond have no hope of making the finals and our own boys have bowed out of all footy finals it is now time to turn my attention to cricket and getting a sun tan. Mind you will be there to send off Cuz in his last game for the Tiges

We have worked with a number of what you might call “top shelf” clients and brands over the years and sometimes we go home and mention these to our kids and they could care less. “Pa …, who cares!” But cricket is big in our family for one individual anyhow, it used to be big for me too. Apparently when I was a four year old wee lass I used to get up with dad in the middle of the night and watch Australia play Test cricket. We grew up in a cricketing household. Dad played until he was 43 and our summer weekends were spent at a cricket club. So when I mentioned that we got a job with Cricket Australia there was immediate interest. 12 year old boy interest amounts to “Really” and a bit of a smile but that my friends is “real interest”. We have installed 4 Wall Scrawls, 3 with calendar grids to mark out the Ashes Tour over coming months and the last Wall Scrawl falls into the calendar category but will amount to note taking for months 4 – 6 ahead. The Wall Scrawls line the passage way and above we have installed clocks showing real time cricket and time clocks from different countries around the world. We will be back to add perspex plaques beneath the clocks displaying names of cities with the clocks reflecting current time in those cities. To add a bit of colour we will be printing pics of the 3 different playing uniforms to indicate days of play on to low tac vinyl which can then be placed on the Wall Scrawl. So the 26 – 30 Dec would all have a little pic of the Test shirt in the box, as well as any other activities they are running written in there, and 14 Jan would have a pic of the T20 shirt.

From artwork to printed interlayer, our very own foyer Wall Scrawl! Most clients are happy to view the product online but some clients still like to view the real thing so we have developed a bit of a Wall Scrawl wall in our entrance foyer to showcase what is achievable for both residential and corporate clients. For residential clients it’s all about colour, design, patterning to work in with a home interior. For both corporate and residential clients, the idea is to create a functional area for writing as you would on a whiteboard but with an added aesthetic dimension. For corporate clients we work with a client’s logo elements to create a bit of a showpiece for the business on a boardroom or office wall and incorporate subtle branding. Logo elements (colour, patterning, text, bylines) can also be interpreted as artwork which is what I have tried to create here with our foyer Wall Scrawl. I have created gradient colours, patterning, text and a logo seal. Otherwise a corporate board can look well a little too corporate and bland.

Most business these days is done online. Not much face to face going on. But sometimes clients like to come for a look see and we have been working on our entrance foyer wall to showcase examples of what can be achieved and to provide a few ideas.
Here’s an example of spruicing up your internal walls with a functional and aesthetic corporate whiteboard using existing logo colours and elements. Will show you the real thing when we go to print next week.
