Is this not THE CUTEST CUPCAKE you have ever seen with the cutest smiley face looking right back at you? Pretty sure there’s nothing like this little car in Yackandandah. Anne picked the car up yesterday for the long trip home. Should be parked outside the bakery now as we go live with this post. This will surely put a smile on faces both young and old and hopefully sell a zillion cupcakes for the Yackandandah Bakery. Not far from Beechworth as I read the map.
The banks use this in television advertising to lull us into feeling that they are the good guys however I am yet to have had any truly positive experience with any bank. And they have had lots of opportunity to be the good guys. I find it reprehensible. We see through this in the end. Same in politics, it is being played out in front of us at the moment. But it is the weekend and I am looking for a positive. We can, if upheld by truth, evoke a sense of good will, care and humanity in our business dealings; for small business it can be a major point of difference. It should set us apart. For me this image on this rear window evokes a sense of humanity … with the quote /catchphrase “we shape a better world”. It is my favourite rear window. So if you are a business with a soul then sell it because truth brings loyalty. When things don’t go to plan it is a worthwhile base to fall back on and move forward.
Had a rough day yesterday so these comments from Jacqui at Adams eco Electrics to John made my day. Love it when clients are happy. These comments relate to this post a little while back. And here’s the project listing for this job on our website just in case you want to explore further.
Hi John,
I thought I’d touch base to thank you for your response to Letterbox’ work on our brand. I’ve just had a read of your article, I think Stephen also is quite happy with how this has come together.
Cutler and Co has just been named Restaurant of the Year (out of 400 restaurants listed) at The Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards. Well done Pascale!! If you check out their website go to images and click away at some of the beautiful images of Pascale’s interior design work, particularly the bar and the lighting. It’s the mix of materials often contrary that somehow all tie in together.
And we did the signage at both. Window decals for Cutler and Co, view project here. No project for Royal Mail Hotel, no pics either, all pre digital, just this wee post.
Royal Mail Hotel at Dunkeld designed by Simm Design. This signage would have been installed in 1997. It’s holding up pretty well some 13 years later.
This video shows a typical day in the restaurant. The greenhouse, landscape, orchard, large chooks pen and attention to detail from garden to table is inspiring. A few good shots of the external branding we did here.
