carsales.com.au | Building ID
We've been applying AutoSkin decals to carsales.com.au's fleet of vehicles first on PT Cruisers and recently on Mazdas for several years now. But this time they came to us for signage and Louise at carsales.com.au mentioned that we got the job because of the all the nice things we say on our website about them. Well that's a nice kinda feeling because we like to promote the businesses who come to us and keep coming back and we like to promote the businesses that are great to deal with. With this job just the logo is required because they are a known brand not for longevity but for saturation marketing. They have built rapid brand awareness; just go to the footy or watch on tv and you will see what I mean. Their business is built around their website and their branding directs plenty of traffic there.

Mt Buller Village Square Signage
The brief was to remove the existing signage at the entrance to Village Square at Mt Buller and replace with the new logo for Mt Buller. The 3D letters have been fabricated from coloured acrylic and internally illuminated using LEDs. A boom lift was used to dismantle original signage and install the new logo and letters. The gallery below shows the various stages of the install. This was all up in time for the opening of the 2009 Snow Season at Mt Buller (6th June, 2009)

Oakridge, Yarra Valley
Oakridge Winery came to us for a rebrand solution for their main entrance ID and wayfinding | directional signage for the cellar door, restaurant and winery. John chose alucobond panels to attach to existing frames and overlaid with forme cut lettering to provide clear and cost effective wayfinding | directional signage. Working to a fairly tight budget, in the main, a bit was spared for the Main Entrance ID. Without giving away trade secrets John came up with tarnished 3D copper letters installed to entrance, rendered wall. A rather understated, classic interpretation of their text logo. Given the picturesque backdrop it was important to keep signage simple and elegant. This holds true for wayfinding | directional signage anywhere; clear, concise, easily digested information that directs people to where they want to go.
