Wall Scrawl is diversifying. Over the past few years we have provided a Clear 8mm Acrylic Dry Erase Wall Scrawl, providing a wonderful aesthetic as well as its function as an easy to clean dry erase whiteboard (albeit clear) however the question often asked, “Is it magnetic?” And no clear acrylic is not magnetic, but [...]
So in previous posts I mentioned how I was going to give a bit of insight into how our online store was travelling in response to marketing strategies employed. Now the marketing budget is so far use what we have. I have spent money on a google adwords campaign and activity has increased from 0 [...]
It took a few weeks and then 2 orders in 12 hours. Was dancing around the house with a smile from ear to ear. Here’s the first of many print runs for deRshop. Better get in quick, it’s time to put up the Christmas decorations. I will be adding our xmas range to the front [...]
This range of “Christmas” themed bags has been pulled together loosely by the colours of Christmas. The original stock is a mash up of theatre banners, sorted, cut to size and then sewn by a local sailmaker into super sturdy, pretty cool, durable shopping bags.
Ok, so about 20 mins ago I started a small Google Adwords campaign for deRshop, adding a few keywords like Christmas Fabric Decals, Fabric Decals, Xmas Decals. Thought I would check back to see how we have fared in such a short time. Had 0 visits when I checked in earlier and then there was [...]
These marketing strategies are blowing my mind. So many to choose from and where do you start. Here’s the list (just the beginning): I would be silly not to utilise the marketing capabilities right here: AutoSkin (car advertising) taylormadesigns (signage, us again) Social Media | facebook, twitter, pinterest and of course this blog Local Markets [...]
As I mentioned yesterday we are pretty much starting deRshop, our online store, from scratch with a very limited marketing campaign to see what works and what doesn’t work and we are using this blog to share the journey with you. Firstly, deRshop is an online store, featuring a range of products that we have [...]
I opened our online store, deRshop, last week and was warned that not much happens in the beginning and I was ok with that but a week later with no sales on the board, I’m thinking I need a bit of a strategy here. I have done zero marketing except via this blog and then [...]
Our new online store is open for business. We have kicked off with our first range of fabric decals for Christmas based on an Aztec-Mexicali theme. Think stripes of colours with 3 colourway options available. Chains of Aztec inspired baubles, stars and trees to add a little something different to your retail or interior wall [...]
deRshop is coming in time for christmas. To whet the appetite here is a little offering, all to be part of the first release of christmas fabric decals. Long/short strips of colour loveliness. Perfect colours for a deck chair range come to think with the pool out yonder.
Spring is all about the sun coming up earlier, the days getting longer and increasing sunshine. And when the sun comes out so do the sunnies to counteract the glare and reflection. It seems appropriate that we continue our spring theme with a post on reflection and what better way to demonstrate reflection than with [...]
OH MINI you’re so fine …. Check this out, courtesy of MINI Facebook Page, taking a vehicle wrap to the next level, highly personalised, fun, internal/external detail, patterns on matte black, black flames on Gloss red. Then enter the vehicle and explore the detail – musical notes as decals, musical instruments as speedo arrows.
Continuing with the spring theme today and given another sunny start to the day which is said to turn foul as the day progresses is another Florist Vehicle Wrap. This time the van and caddy wraps we did for The Fresh Flower Man. These vehicle wraps have been on the road for a few years [...]
3 Wall Scrawls have now been delivered to CrossFit Aphesis in Sydney. They are installing today.
To coincide with the way our online shop will be organised, I thought I would pre-empt September by introducing a Seasonal Theme across our website. I will dive into our treasure trove of goodness to shake the dust off a few of our favourites that relate to the theme of Spring: September ~ October ~ [...]

Our taylormadesigns utes circa early 2000s cheetah print. Ha! We were doing vehicle wrapping way before everyone else got in the act. These utes seem almost retro now.
Today we saw the First Call Electrical Vans travelling in unison on the freeway into the city. A good way to multiply exposure! Then Smarter Bathrooms and Kitchens are doing a bit of work in Williamstown. We’ve seen them a few times in Williamstown now. Could it be referral work or perhaps their AutoSkin Vehicle [...]
Hexis Alligator is a stock custom finish. Other custom finishes are carbon fibre, matte black, brushed metals. That simply means that it comes on a roll already printed so no design is necessary. You nominate whether you want a bonnet or tailgate or rear or accessories wrapped and we do the rest. Great material for [...]
I know this is a bit delayed, but today is my first day back from annual leave. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all that jazz but I really just wanted to let you know that the sign looks FANTASTIC and we are absolutely thrilled!!!! Your boys worked sooo hard and I hope you have rewarded them accordingly. When I spoke to them in the afternoon they said they wouldn’t be able to put the car bit up the top because they needed a winch (or something like that?) but then I went out that night and drove past the office after 9pm and they were just finishing off the whole sign. You make sure you tell them I said thank you and that they did a wonderful job. We are very happy customers Mr.Taylor. Keep up the good work.Louise@carsales.com.au
Hi John, Apologies for the delay but I would like to thank you and the guys for the amazing job on my brothers toolbox. We are all so impressed with the outcome and the exceptional level of service. Thanks again, FrancineFrancine
Just a short note to say thanks for the effort that went into designing our new skins for our vans. They really stand out on the road and I’ve had nothing but positive feedback about them. The publisher has also told me that they are very happy with the end result. I’ll be sure to bring our other vans in as we replace them for a similar treatment! Thanks again.
