Overview; The Future River exhibition at Counihan Art Gallery showcased a great use of the space provided, Often we are limited to the rooms that we’re working in, some things you just cant hide. But sometimes you can use them as features, and when they bring in uncommon elements, it’s great to see how simple techniques can completely elevate a space.
Key Install Points
I like to showcase this exhibition because I find it to be an excellent use of what is already available to us.
The window graphic is printed to a backlit SAV, this is then installed to the glass.
And just like that Counihan has created a fully functioning lightbox at no additional cost.
The graphic set the mood for the whole room, the soft glow created a very intimate space.
Additionally to this they played with overlaying projections onto their wallpaper to add another dimension.
