Exhibition Vinyl Cut Graphics Installation

Client: National Gallery of Victoria

Install Length: 2 Weeks

Key Elements: Vinyl Cut Lettering

Overview; The Pharaoh exhibition at the NGV was a different kind of install — the collection itself does the visual heavy lifting, so the graphics work was focused almost entirely on information delivery. Vinyl cut lettering across walls, panels and wayfinding throughout the space, with CCV used to carry large volumes of text cleanly across surfaces. A restrained brief executed precisely, letting the artefacts take centre stage.

Key Install Points

The Pharaoh job was limited on the normal graphics scope, and understandably so.

A lot of the decoration was painted or built in so our focus was turned to the informative side of our graphics.

With quite a lot of information to convey the CCV component was the critical graphic element for this one.

Intricate vinyl cut maps were an interesting way to convey regions that made the information look built into the space and not just a graphic sticker placed on top!
