Event and Activation Installation

Install Length: 2 Days
Key Elements: Wall Graphics, Printed Photography, Light-boxes, Wall Fabrication, Didactic Panels, Wallpapers, Furniture Making
Overview; The Lounge was a project close to home — a space conceived and built by the Decently Exposed team for the Inner West Art Fair, drawing on everything learned across years of gallery and event installs. Wallpaper and decorative timber on the walls, photography printed and framed in-house, didactic panels with integrated QR codes, lightboxes, and furniture designed to give the space a warm lounge feel. Two days to build something that felt considered and lived-in. The first time exhibiting our own work — and a good reminder of what this team is capable of when given a blank brief.
Key Install Points
The Longe was a personal project for Ethan and Will that was supported by DE.
We produced beyond our usual scope with this one, taking on responsibilities like the walls and lightboxes.
Ethan’s furniture was presented to give the feel of a warm lounge room.
The walls were covered with wallpaper and decorative timber. The didactics were printed onto panels along with the QR codes. and all of the photography was printed in-house as-well. However framed externally.
A very rewarding experinece.
(That’s us on the mic!)
