‘Switzerland” – Will Taylor

The first pack to make it to our page, Will’s ‘Switzerland’ is a collection of images from his most recent trip to the beautiful, you guessed it, Switzerland. ‘Switzerland’ plays with a limited use of colour, almost exaggerating the chill of the snow in every photo, while also allowing the colour to, where used, jump off of the canvas and really catch the eye of the viewer. The collection works well both as a feature piece on your wall or broken down into smaller groups to decorate throughout a space.

The pack contains 12 x Small, 4 x Medium and 1 x Large prints

This is Will’s first and only pack with DeFlick however we are excited to add to his portfolio in the near future. For more on Will, see his biography below.

Meet Will

Will is an amateur photographer who most enjoys photographing landscapes while he travels across the world. Starting out with a small digital camera will began getting into editing photos only months after his first trip around Europe, when he was introduced to Lightroom.

Since then will has spent time in both New Zealand and through Asia, Photographing the trips and uploading the result to his Instagram. (Link below)

When he’s back at home Will spends his time trying to come up with new and fun ways to display his photography, working notably with wallpapers, light-boxes and canvas, selling to friends and family who would accept his work in their home.

Will’s Style.

Due to his inexperience Will is yet to truely find a style that suits him most. however he does tend to favour the darker moodier photography, using a lot of deep green and orange in is pallet to get a sort of dark earth feel to his collection. More recently however Will has been playing with using limited colour in otherwise black and white images. The result can be quite eye-catching when it can be pulled off well. 

Will finds the transition of styles over time to be a fun and interesting thing to observe and can’t help be curious about what the future holds for his photography!

Other things to know about Will!

Achievement wise, Will is relatively fresh and without notable accomplishment, however this is not to say that Will feels that way.

Over the last few years, the exploration and experimentation that he

has been able to do with a great variety of art forms has lead to some great moments in his personal life, so while there are no trophies he can show you, the journey thus far has been a trophy in and of itself. Will did also come 6th place in his grade 6 regional cross country, however, unfortunately the ribbon has since been lost!

Will is excited to continue developing his photography to see what unknown avenues for creating will open up in the future.

Description

DeFlick photo decals are a great way to customise any surface with your own photographs or artwork. Our decals are easily removed and reapplied without leaving any evidence that they were ever on the wall. Making them perfect for people who are renting, in office spaces or even for something more temporary such as weddings or birthdays. However this is not to say they’re not good for more lasting installations either, our decals will stay up until you want them down!

Your DeFlick photo decals are biodegradable as well! Meaning the earth won’t suffer from your decision to display your favourite images on the wall.

We print all of our photo decals onto a material known as PhotoTex, the original peel and stick, polyester fabric, adhesive material that can be installed on virtually any flat surface (indoor and out). For more information on PhotoTex click here for their website!

Get creative with your prints, the small, medium and large sizes give you plenty of variation. Allowing you to arrange them in any number of different configurations. Limited only by your imagination!

On completion of your purchase, please allow up to two weeks for delivery of your photo decals. Decals travelling outside of Australia will likely require even more time to arrive.

*Please note, while we are confident that our photo decals will remain on your wall with no issues. In order to maximise the longevity of your decals, if applying onto fresh paint, please allow 4-5 days before installing your images. We also advise that you ensure a surface is clean and dust free before applying your photo decals.
